Architectural Review Board

Purpose

The purpose of the ARB is to ensure and preserve the architectural uniqueness of the City of Webster Groves.

The Architectural Review Board (ARB) reviews plans associated with new construction or renovation work affecting the exterior look of the main building, sign permits, and fences in historic districts prior to approval by the Building Commissioner.

The ARB is made up of five licensed architects. (One board position is allotted for a landscape architect.) The ARB meets on the first and third Thursdays of every month at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

Andrew Klosterman, Plan Reviewer, is the staff liaison to the ARB. Sarah Richardson is the Council liaison to the ARB.
