Prior to the meeting, a letter of resignation
was submitted by Bill Sharpe. Meg Nash will be the next appointment to the
Commission.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Ms. Bradley, seconded by Mr.
Ahearn, to approve the minutes of January 22, 2008.

The January 22, 2008 minutes were approved.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT IN THE ARTS RECEPTION
It was decided that when the Framing for City
Hall Art Task Force meets, they will also discuss plans for the Awards
reception.
BUDGET INPUT SURVEY
The Commission discussed the Budget Input
Survey. [Attachment A].
ARTS CENTER TASK FORCE
Ms. Bradley reminded members that the group is
meeting February 13. [Notes from 2/13 meeting – Attachment B].
FUNDING POTENTIAL TASK FORCE
The Task Force discussed potential meeting
dates, a meeting will be scheduled soon.
FRAMING FOR CITY HALL ART
The group will meet Friday, February 15 at 3:30
p.m. to discuss framing as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award Reception.
Other Issues
Ms. Evans asked about the donation for
Recreation. Mayor Welch stated that she is talking with Council regarding the
donation.
Ms. Evans mentioned that Catharine Magel is
interested in meeting with the Commission to discuss funding for public art. It
was decided that the April meeting would be best.
Mr. Allen asked about fundraising through an Antiques
Roadshow event. The Commission discussed the possibility and established
that the event would be more for the Community Arts Foundation, rather than the
Arts Commission.

There being no further business to come before the
Commission, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
