APPROVAL OF MINUTES

motion was made by Mr. Allen, seconded by Ms. Bakker, to approve the minutes of
January 13, 2009.

DISCUSSION
WITH KIM HARRIS
Kim
Harris, Yucandu, presented the Commission with her idea to put a mosaic on the
west wall of the Webster Records building. She has received a bid from
Catharine Magel for the project and is seeking input on how to proceed.
A
motion was made by Ms. Bradley, seconded by Mr. Drissell to establish a task
force to work on the mosaic project.

PROPOSED
ART LOCATIONS WITHIN THE CITY
Mr. Allen
and Mr. Drissell gave a presentation on the viability of placing public art at
various locations within the City. The Commission will firm up their ideas for
the next meeting so they can move forward with a plan.
ARTS
CENTER/OZARK THEATER
The
Commission discussed their recent tour of the Ozark Theater. There are many
issues to still be resolved, the Commission will forward their input to Mr.
Sargent to pass along to Mr. Stevens.

There being no further business to come before the
Commission, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
