to the opening of the meeting, Bob Springer, Crossroads Business District
Advisory Board, discussed public art in the Crossroads Business District. He
will return for the November meeting for additional discussion.

of September 8, 2009.

FROM JILL MCGUIRE – REGIONAL ARTS COMMISSION
Jill
McGuire, RAC, discussed current trends and events in the St. Louis arts
community.
EXPLOREWG.COM
WEBSITE
Explorewg.com
is a website the Business Development Commission is putting together to
emphasize businesses and events within the city. There is an arts component to
this website. The Commission discussed ideas for arts listings and events on
the site.
YEAR
OF THE ARTS
A letter is
in process to solicit events and promotions for Year of the Arts from area arts
groups.
Ms. Bradley
distributed a summary on the subcommittee meeting held to discuss potential
artists for public art within the city.
