Volunteer Opportunities Available

People volunteering outdoors

Do you like to work outdoors and learn about nature? Then come join Green Keepers, a volunteer corps of citizen gardeners launched by the Webster Groves Parks & Recreation Department to help maintain our parks as beautiful, safe green spaces that encourage all residents to explore, learn, rest and play.

Green Keepers can participate in a wide variety of activities ranging from gardening and clean up to planting and seed saving to invasive removal and land restoration. No special experience required; only enthusiasm and a love for Webster’s rich green space heritage. Parks staff will teach you all you need to know for specific projects, and provide tools on site.

Click here to join the Green Keeper Volunteer Email List to get regular updates about volunteer opportunities and events. Green Keeper hours are applicable toward Master Gardener certification.

All volunteers must sign a waiver. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
