Week of December 13 - December 19, 2021
On 12/13/2021 at 4:16 PM a theft was reported in the 600 block of S. Elm Ave. The victim stated they left their bicycle unsecured and unattended on a bike rack. The victim returned and discovered their bicycle had been stolen.
On 12/14/2021 at 7:16 AM a motor vehicle theft was reported in the 800 block of Lanvale Dr. The victim reported someone stole their vehicle while it was left unattended to warm-up with the engine running in their driveway. The vehicle was later located by another agency and returned to the owner.
On 12/15/2021 at 11:29 AM a fraud was reported in the 300 block of Marshall Ave. The victim reported a former employee used their credit card to make a fraudulent purchase.
On 12/15/2021 at 2:32 PM an identity theft was reported in the first block of Summit Ave. The victim reported someone in a different state attempted to use their drivers license to cash a check.
On 12/18/2021 at 10:42 AM an identity theft was reported in the 100 block of N. Rock Hill Rd. The caller reported someone attempted to open several accounts using their personal information.
On 12/18/2021 at 3:30 PM a theft was reported in the first block of E. Drake Ave. The victim reported someone stole an artificial Christmas tree from their yard.
During the week of 12-13-2021 through 12-19-2021, the Police Department responded to 448 calls for service, 27 auto accidents, 4 alarms and assisted the Fire Department 29 times.
