On 12/29/2021 at 1:01 PM a theft was reported in the first block of S. Laclede Station Rd. The caller reported someone forced entry into their building and stole cooper wire.
On 12/29/2021 at 5:38 PM an identity theft was reported in the 300 block of Chestnut Ave. The victim reported someone used their personal information to file an unemployment claim.
On 12/30/2021 at 11:27 AM a trespassing was reported at a business in the 200 block of W. Lockwood Ave. The caller reported a male subject wearing a green coat and green hat refused to leave the business. The suspect had been warned several times in the past and was taken into custody. Formal charges are pending.
On 01/01/2022 at 12:48 AM a motor vehicle theft was reported at a business in the 1200 block of S. Laclede Station Rd. The victim reported someone stole their vehicle from the parking lot. The vehicle was later recovered and returned to the owner. The investigation is on-going.
On 01/01/2022 at 3:43 PM a theft was reported at a business in the first block of E. Glendale Ave. The victim reported sometime between 3:20 PM and 3:40 PM someone stole cash from their wallet.
On 01/02/2022 at 11:34 AM property damage was reported in the 800 block of Newport Ave. The victim reported someone shot two holes through their window using a BB gun or pellet gun.
During the week of 12-27-2021 through 01-02-2022, the Police Department responded to 288 calls for service, 11 auto accidents, 11 alarms and assisted the Fire Department 46 times.
