On 01/03/2022 at 2:24 PM an identity theft was reported in the 300 block of Fairlawn Ave. The victim reported someone used their personal information to file an unemployment claim.
On 01/03/2022 at 5:05 PM an identity theft was reported in the 100 block of Plant Ave. The victim reported someone used their personal information to file an unemployment claim.
On 01/06/2022 at 2:51 PM a burglary was reported in the 900 block of Providence Ave. The victim reported several subjects forced entry into their residence and they were assaulted. Suspects have been identified and the investigation is on-going.
On 01/06/2022 at 3:39 PM a theft was reported in the 300 block of Clark Ave. The victim reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a leaf blower and sports equipment.
On 01/07/2022 at 4:12 AM a motor vehicle theft was reported in the 300 block of Tuxedo Blvd. The victim reported sometime between 4:00 AM and 4:10 AM someone stole their vehicle.
On 01/07/2022 at 6:38 AM a motor vehicle theft was reported in the 1100 block of S. Elm Ave. The victim reported someone stole their vehicle while it was left unattended to warm-up with the engine running.
On 01/07/2022 at 4:26 PM a theft was reported in the 600 block of S. Elm Ave. The victim reported someone stole their bicycle.
During the week of 01-03-2022 through 01-09-2022, the Police Department responded to 510 calls for service, 10 auto accidents, 10 alarms and assisted the Fire Department 45 times.
