Week of April 11 - April 17, 2022
On 04/11/2022 at 2:33 PM a theft was reported in the 8000 block of Watson Rd. The reporting party stated two subjects entered the store while he was in the back room and stole two display cases, that contained approximately $3000 worth of product.
On 04/12/2022 at 12:19 PM a fraud was reported in the 1100 Block of Hawken Pl. The victim reported they were convinced by someone to send them approximately $19,000 via a Bitcoin ATM. The victim reported they were convinced their identity had been stolen and fraudulent activity was occurring on their bank account.
On 04/14/2022 at 4:23 AM a motor vehicle theft was reported in the 200 Block of E. Lockwood Ave. The victim reported sometime overnight someone stole their vehicle.
On 04/14/2022 at 8:07 AM a motor vehicle theft was reported in the 300 Block of Camellia Ave. The victim reported their vehicle was stolen sometime overnight.
On 04/14/2022 at 12:43 PM a theft from an auto was reported in the unit block of E. Glendale Rd. The victim reported sometime between 11:29 AM to 12:40 PM, subjects entered their unlocked vehicle and stole their purse which contained credit cards.
On 04/15/2022 at 1:46 PM a fraud was reported in the 100 Block of W. Cedar Ave. The reporting party advised three counterfeit checks were cashed from their checking account. The reporting party stated this occurred between 03/22/2022 to 04/05/2022 for an approximate amount of $5000.00.
On 04/16/2022 at 7:48 AM a burglary was reported in the 8900 Block of Watson Rd. The reporting party reported a subject forced their way into the back side of the business and stole several power tools.
During the week of 04-11-2022 through 04-17-2022, the Police Department responded to 449 calls for service, 11 auto accidents, 11 alarms and assisted the Fire Department 49 times.
