Week of May 22 - May 28, 2023
On 05/23/2023 at 1:19 PM, a theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of S. Laclede Station Rd. The reporting party advised sometime overnight, the catalytic convertor was stolen from their vehicle and a mirror was torn off.
On 05/24/2023 at 9:44 AM, a property damage was reported in the 400 block of Oak St. The reporting party advised an unknown subject damaged a flag pole, along with an American flag.
On 05/24/2023 at 11:45 AM, a fraud was reported in the 200 block of W. Lockwood Ave. The reporting party advised they discovered several unauthorized charges on their credit card.
On 05/25/2023 at 11:54 AM, a fraud was reported in the 3200 block of S. Brentwood Blvd. The reporting party advised they discovered a business check had been fraudulently cashed.
On 05/25/2023 at 2:10 PM, a fraud was reported in the 600 block of Eckrich Pl. The reporting party advised they were contacted by an unknown subject via email. The reporting party advised the email thanked them for a purchase and advised their account would be charged. The reporting party advised they contacted the phone number provided in the email, regarding the purchase they did not make. The reporting party advised the unknown subject began asking for personal information.
On 05/25/2023 at 2:47 PM, a fraud was reported in the 8000 block of Big Bend Blvd. The reporting party advised a subject was attempting to cash checks, that had been previously reported stolen. The subject was located and arrested without incident. The investigation will be forwarded to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for warrant application.
On 05/26/2023 at 12:51 PM, a property damage was reported in the 300 block of Oak Tree Dr. The reporting party advised sometime overnight, an unknown subject broke out the rear window of their vehicle and stole several tools.
On 05/26/2023 at 11:46 PM, a burglary in progress was reported in the 100 block of N. Bompart Ave. The reporting party advised an unknown subject entered their residence and fled shortly afterwards. Officers located the subject responsible and was arrested without incident.
During the week of 05-22-2023 through 05-28-2023, the Police Department responded to 429 calls for service, 13 auto accidents, 10 alarms and assisted the Fire Department 51 times.
