The City of Webster Groves will be hosting our first public meeting for the Aquatic Center master plan on December 1, 2022, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This meeting will be in person at the Rec Complex, 33 E. Glendale Road. The City has commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker, an aquatic planning, and design firm, to lead our master plan process.
This public engagement meeting will provide you an opportunity to give feedback on how you use our current aquatic center which was approved by voters in 1993 and built in 1994. We also want your feedback on what features, amenities, and programming you would like to see in a potential new facility, as well as your potential financial support of a new facility. Gathering this feedback is the first step in our process as we design for a potential new facility that will last us for the next 30 years. All ages are welcome to attend and provide their input.
If you are unable to attend in person, you can still offer your feedback by completing our survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WX7YK2G. There will also be future opportunities for public engagement as we move through this process in the coming months. Below is the timeline for this master plan process and potential pool renovation.
