Volunteers Needed for Arbor Day

Please join us for the 2023 Arbor Day Celebration:

Blackburn Park, Main Pavilion

Please join us in planting 300 trees to honor Arbor Day and help make our community even greener for future generations.

Forest ReLeaf of Missouri has donated 300 Missouri native trees to be planted at Blackburn Park. Park staff will pre-dig planting holes so you can have fun planting. After you plant, mulch, and water the young tree, you and your family can watch the trees grow for decades to come!

You don’t need to bring anything. We will supply tools, gloves, and even the “green thumb” - we are hoping for at least 30 volunteers! Please be sure to fill out a waiver form on our website. 

The ceremony will take place after planting and the City of Webster Groves will honor the Tree Steward of the Year and the Trees of Distinction.
