Reminder: Meeting on Thursday, June 22
Please join us as Ronda Burnett, author of the “Conservation Planning Tools for Missouri Communities”, provides case studies of community conservation projects taking shape across the state. The projects will inspire and bring a fresh perspective to natural resource planning and development as it could be in Webster Groves.
The presentation will focus on how community conservation planning practices can increase the benefits of nature in cities as well as decrease the negative impacts of human communities on our natural world.
Ronda Burnett is a community conservation planner with the Missouri Department of Conservation. She has a bachelor of landscape architecture from Louisiana State University and a Master’s Degree Planning: Urban, Environmental, and Land Use – University of Kansas. She is the immediate past president of American Planning Association, Missouri Chapter, Ozark Mountain Section.
